CADCON and AID found company group

The engineering and machinery construction group CADCON and the specialist in technical documentation AID will be combining their companies in the future in form of the newly founded CADCON Holding GmbH. The holding company takes over central management and administration of the operative companies, CADCON and AID.

The goal of the partnership is to let both companies continue on their paths to growth in the future. At the same time, CADCON and AID are, alongside the development of their respective market positions, both pursuing the systematic expansion of their business and service activities.

About CADCON Holding
CADCON Holding, based in Gersthofen, Germany, was founded at the beginning of the year. Robert Bauer (Managing Director of CADCON) and Robert Waldmann (Managing Director of AID) will manage the company as equal partners. Both will also continue to hold management positions in the operative companies of CADCON Holding.

Mr Waldmann is confident: "There are always risks that accompany mergers, but there is also a wealth of opportunities. Previous collective projects of AID and CADCON have shown that corporate understanding and ideals are perfectly harmonised on both sides.

The main features of the partnership have been openness and collegiality, ever since the very beginning. I am convinced that, by founding the company group, we have really set our course for the upcoming years in order to achieve our collective goal of strengthening our companies further in the future through growth."

Growth in the leadership circle
In the autumn of 2010, the management of CADCON Ingenieurgesellschaft had already been strengthened by the arrival of Andreas Gundel.

Now the CADCON leadership circle has another new member. Mr Stephan Völk was appointed Managing Director of the CADCON Personalgesellschaft in January. Already working at the company since the foundation of CADCON, Mr Völk now manages the business activities of the Personalgesellschaft and all personnel issues within the CADCON group.

Robert Bauer explains: "The last few months have opened up lots of new potential for our company. By pooling our activities, we are assuring ourselves better market access, particularly in the aerospace and defence industries, as well as safeguarding jobs. Moreover, I am excited about the strengthening of our management team. Stephan Völk is extremely familiar with the company and will definitely continue to leave his mark on our profile.".
